If you’ve been keeping up with our Sun Index blog (formerly QTemp blog), you’ll know about the substantial progress we’ve made with Sun Index (formerly QTemp), Comfable’s sun safety product. Since our last QTemp update on our Comfable blog, we’ve surpassed many exciting milestones. This update will fill you in on the progress we’ve made in the past nine months and our plans going forward.
In June, we announced that the lite version of the QTemp app was available on the App Store and Google Play. Since then, we’ve completed our first manufacturing round and delivered units to all of our backers and those who pre-ordered through our website. We’ve also connected with a large distributor in Japan, and completely sold out of our first batch of units!
Since June, the QTemp app has also undergone a complete graphic redesign. We have incorporated many features that we’ve been striving towards since our original planning stage, including Sunscreen Reminders and Dynamic Time to Burn. We try our best to publish app updates on a monthly basis so that users always have access to the best possible version.
As always, user experience is our top priority. Feedback from our users has helped us to make several improvements to the QTemp app and device, and we are looking to incorporate even more sun safety features in the near future.
